Current Openings:

VP of Finance: RADmag is seeking a Vice President of Finance for the year of 2017/2018. Responsibilities include creating budget sheets and income statements and maintaining them frequently, preparing cheque requisitions, giving pitches for funding request and keeping up them up to date, and reaching out to potential funders. This candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Qualifications: 2nd or 3rd year student, preferably working towards a Business Degree, with basic accounting knowledge.

Financial Assistant: RADmag is seeking a Financial Assistant for 2017/2018. We are seeking a 2nd or 3rd year student, preferably working towards a business degree. This role involves working closely with the VP Finance in order to manage the groups budget, as well as reaching out to Ryerson Financial agencies for funding. This candidate should be highly motivated and be willing to put in 5-10 hours a week. 

Distribution Manager: The role of Distribution Manger includes working with and developing the magazine’s stockists across the city of Toronto. The candidate will restock and deliver new issues, as well as collect funds and negotiate contracts with these partners. This position requires excellent communication skills in order to maintain a good working relationship with the stockists and other partners of the magazine. In addition, the Distribution Manager is responsible for finding and contacting new partners to stock the publication, and therefore must be excellent at networking and be comfortable with cold-calls. Candidate must be motivated and independent. Expected 5-8 hours per week

Graphic Designer: RADmag is looking for talented graphic designers to help with online and print projects. Overseen by the Art Director, the graphic designers will help with projects throughout the year on marketing campaigns, social media content, and on the design of the magazine itself. Must be very familiar with Adobe Suite, and able to work within deadlines. Expected 3-5 hours per week.
